Funny Patents - 3
If you want to patent an invention, it must offer a solution to a problem. Specifically, it must meet the following three conditions: (1) Novelty: at least some aspect of it must be new; (2) Inventive Step: the new aspect(s) must not be obvious or easily deduced; (3) Industrial applicability: the invention must be able to be made or used in an industry. I am not quite sure how these five U.S. patents made the cut, but they sure are entertaining!

Link: https://patents.google.com/patent/US7066592?oq=Patent+No.+7%2c066%2c592
Abstract: A frameless glassware assembly attaching to boy piercing studs or similar structures attached to the human boy. One disclosed design consists of an elastomeric C-clip fixedly attached to one distal end of a metal arm, which is attached to a frameless glass lens assembly. This design allows for frameless eyeglass attachment to eyebrow studs, the nose studs of a user, or similar structure via one or more elastomeric C-clips. One embodiment allows the frameless glassware to attach to eyebrow studs and the second allows the frameless glassware to attach to a nose stud. Both of these designs are frameless and avoid side wire or similar earpieces common to hold glassware to the face of a user.

US6681419B1: Forehead support apparatus
Link: https://patents.google.com/patent/US6681419?oq=Patent+No.+6%2c681%2c419
Abstract: A forehead support apparatus for resting a standing users forehead against a wall above a bathroom commode or urinal or beneath a showerhead. The apparatus includes a mounting member adapted for attachment to an upright bathroom wall either above the commode or urinal or below the showerhead.
